Due to Covid 19, by the end of the 2020 she had not reached her target of 10 companies but has high hopes for 2021 which includes Youth mentorship which she has started by onboarding PROMO.KE as the flagship for Youth Mentorship.
One of the unique ways in which the Mentorship is effective is that we make sure that every lady transforms her business positively in bankable business engagements and improvements in their processes and embedding SDGs to their processes. Extra Dimensions underwent the same mentorship by Rebecca Wanjiku of Fireside which was very instrumental in our diversification as Cohort 1.
Our current ratio of male to female employees is 65:35 as our overall operations are very labour intensive and odd working hours. We are consistently improving on this number.
We thank the Safaricom Top Management through the CCO Madam Sylvia Mulinge our Patron and the internal committee led by Florence Kiburi for this opportunity to make a big difference to our bottom line and pledge our support for other Women owned companies and the Youth 1 to help them scale up and attain sustainability.
